@crinrict Intermediate (and also ludicrous) don't work ☹️.

I haven't tried skiing, as I didn't expect it to work and don't have a skilled skiing Sim, but I may try testing just in case. 

Also, I did try the last option in the task, rock climbing in inclement weather. I'm not sure whether this matters that I tried during a mountain excursion event...but my Sim successfully climbed in a blizzard and that also did not complete the aspiration task.

@crinrict good point. Also I realized I read the task wrong, but still doesn't seem to work (this is for the last task in the extreme sports aspiration to complete high intensity skiing/snowboarding on expert slope or rock climbing in inclement weather).

I tried snowboarding (successful run one time and continuously) and rock climbing during a blizzard with a different Sim and unfortunately the task still does not complete.

@crinrict was that on Playstation? If so, maybe it has to be thunderstorm and blizzard for some reason wouldn't count as inclement weather..? Or maybe it's something weird specific to my game/save unless some of the other "me too" people are using Playstation.

@jajom4 I tested this again. I used my PS4, I used my PS5 for my previous test.

My sim did not have issue completing the snowboarding in icy conditions. (I had to wait a long time for any inclement weather). Same with my previous testing, when my sim stuck the landing at the end, the task checked off for both one time and continuous.

I did have issue with rock-climbing. This activity did not seem to count in icy conditions. I tried a small wall, the taller wall behind the slopes, one time climb, continuous, with climbing gear, without climbing gear, but none counted. So I could duplicate that at least in Icy.

I will try to see if I can get lucky with the other conditions since you can't use Dr. June's machine there to change it, but I could only duplicate an issue with rock climbing.

Edit: I finally had a blizzard, the activity did not check off for my sim either for skiing, snowboarding or rock-climbing in a blizzard.

Edit 2: Finally had thundersnow. Ski and snowboarding counted, not rock climbing.

For Ski and Snowboard

Counted: Icy, Thundersnow

Not Counted: Blizzard

For Rock-Climbing, no inclement weather counted at all.

Interestingly, I had forgotten to change my test sims aspiration back to extreme sports before testing the slopes. I didn't want my sim to accidentally complete it with icy conditions. When I swapped it, the aspiration didn't count my slopes for either, but reloading my game and they counted in a thundersnowstorm.

So it would be interesting if you saw anything similar in your game, or if you swapped aspirations just before the ski/snowboard run also. If so, updating your original bug report with what did and didn't work for you would be helpful.

@PoptartJuniper thank you for testing all this. You're right -- I was able to try snowboarding during thundersnow and this time the aspiration task completed..so I guess blizzard just does not count as severe enough weather.

@crinrict should I take back the accepted solution and just change the report to be rock climbing specific?

I'm currently testing and can't finish the aspiration. I'm still waiting for a blizzard. Last time I played the aspiration is over a year ago and it's still frustrating. When it only works with a blizzard why don't they just correct the description and the translations? I don't know the english description but the german translation is confusing.

I am playing on PC and have tried snowboarding in icy conditions as well as a thundersnowstorm, neither of which completed the aspiration. I have also tried rock climbing on the wall behind the slopes in a thundersnowstorm and that didn’t work either. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to complete this task so I can finish the aspiration with no cheats? I have tried with two different sims but they’re in the same save.

this is still not working for me even though i have mods off, tried all slopes snowboarding in thundersnow and still didn't work, had the thundersnow moodlet and nothing. Tried continuously and one time, nope. Tried leaving and coming back lol nope. Had to cheat in the end after spending a few hours snowboarding. Kinda sad since I didn't feel like I fulfilled it legit. I also play on PC.
