Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Build a room on flat terrain or on a foundation 1 click up. Suggest 8x8 size. Place a platform (6x6) in the center of the room so that that there is one tile all the way around the platform. Recess the platform by clicking down twice so that it is one click down. Place tile on both the room and platform. Set walls to drop (middle setting) Zoom out a bit and begin rotating the camera around the room. At a certain distance, the floor in the platforms and you can see through it and get either a blue or black background which may or may not flash. Moving the camera can make it go away but it will come and go.
What happens when the bug occurs? The floor of the platform disappears and you see either black or blue underneath. It may or may not flash and will come and go.
What do you expect to see? A solid floor.

Please describe the patch or change you made. Installing either the pre-patch for Snowy Escape or Snowy Escape
This occurred when I was in build mode in my build save (separate Sims 4 folder) with no mods or cc present. Build was on a 50x50 lot with 2 recessed platforms in 2 different rooms. Issue occurred in both rooms. The house was on a solid foundation, 1 click up. Platforms are 1 click down. Issue only seems to occur at certain camera angles and distances. Rotating the camera or adjusting the camera angle or zoom distance makes the issue come and go. Sometimes it's solid blue, sometimes solid black and sometimes both blue and black. See attached images.
I did find a work around that seems to work to stop the problem. Building a basement underneath the house seems to have stopped it from happening so far.
