[WORKAROUND] Sims uploaded to the gallery wrongly marked as modded

After the new update fir the 16th aniversy all my household say they use custom content however i hate using mods and cc and its a bug on top of that it wont save household to gallery i was told to p...

I've recently as of October 2018 come across this bug. Nothing listed here on this post or things that I've tried will solve this issue. Old families that used CC and no longer have CC will still be marked as modded when they are not. I really don't want to have to twin everyone as the family in question is quite large...

I have no CC installed at the moment and tried all of these solutions with and without CC.

Tried:

  • Accepted Solution
  • Starting a New Save
  • Letting the game remake Mods folder
  • Verifying/Repairing Game
  • Updating my Windows and Video Card 

Not Tried Yet:

  • Reinstalling the Game - Game is installing at the moment. I will reply back with the results of this.

If reinstalling doesn't fix it - 

Is the household on the Gallery now?  If so, what is the household's name?  If not, could you upload it to the Gallery so my team can take a look at it?

    Hello!
    Before reinstalling I cleared the registry too of all things sims 4.


    Reinstalling doesn't fix the issue unfortunately. I added four families that I've had this issue come up with. They are under sparkiemonkey. I may have more somewhere too if it's of any use. I don't think I have a save game where they're in it. I back up my stuff regularly copying over old things to save space.

      Thank you!  Do you remember when these Sims were created, and when you removed the CC from them?

        Karin Makoto-Stafford household was the most recent one. I last played her mid-late July, so everyone else would have been before that. I just removed CC in the last week or so in preparation for upcoming Oct patch that got delayed until Nov.
