ღVanilla: cc free & maxis match/style competition A4 due Oct 1stღ
A modelling competition silly! But one that is cc free except for maxis match/style cc, this competition focuses on simply getting back to basics, and felt appropriate for all skill ranges; so if you're experienced, new, or simply somewhere in the middle, that means you all have a place here. However, I do recommend some basic editing skills in either photoshop or gimp and general knowledge of pose-player, and plenty of creativity. This idea came to me as I decided to avoid certain large cc sites, and realised; it can be tricky working with vanilla content, and takes real skill and finesse to pull off. And, I figured, why not challenge our creative corner to make do with nought but the basics, and even offer the newer members of the community a chance to have fun with modelling? That was how this thread was born.
ღWhat are the rules?ღ
ღKeep it family friendly
ღCC used MUST be a maxis match/style or recolour, etc- meaning it must look as if it would be in the base game's style of clothing & hair. If you're a little stuck, click here*
ღ*If there is an assignment where CC content is absolutely needed, I will let you know what you are free to use.
ღUse photo-skinning (the shopping of clothes onto sims, not slapping on a new skin, THAT is forbidden), as sparingly as possible, and realistically
ღSims must be Young Adult-Adult
ღBe nice, but also be accepting of constructive criticism- take it as an opportunity to learn, but do not pick on people, or you'll be swiftly booted.
