My second entry is Pilot Two

A projcet to navigte the stars needed a pilot able to live for severel hundred years, so a human brain was placed in a cyborg body and Pilot One was born. She went though intensive training and tests and showed great progress, until she suffered some severe psycological problems. A new and improved Pilot Two was born and showed promising results, when the project was hit by unusualy strong earthquakes. Pilot Two was able to escape the research facilities and is now living at the coast, under a new secret identity.
