Anne's always been an 'unusual' princess. While her sisters would spend all day fawning over the knights of their kingdom, Anne never had an interest. In fact, she'd rather become a knight herself than continue to be the princess she was born to be. She trained herself in secret over the years - after all, what would the King and Queen and the kingdom think? A princess playing with swords? Unladylike! Unacceptable!

When she hears of a ball in another town, she steals away for the evening, 'borrowing' a knight's helmet to disguise her appearance. All she wants is for someone to get to know her as a person, not just as a princess, even if its just for the night. Anne longs for someone she can be herself with. And who knows, true love may be right around the corner...
