100 Nooboos Nabbed

This is Maisie Nabber. Aware that townies tend to be terrible parents, not providing toddler beds or treehouses, she has taken it upon herself to raise 100 nooboos born to the Sims in her world. Wish her luck.

The first Sim to become pregnant was Supriya Delgato. Thanks to Maisie's generous and family-oriented nature, she was able to persuade Supriya to move in with her.

Twins Vernon and Weston Delgato soon arrived. Maisie was able to put them in a nicely decorated nursery because of the royalties on her books and also the Simoleons that Supriya brought with her. Vernon and Weston are both calm, but Vernon loves being held while Weston is just the opposite.

Maisie's next mother-to-be was Jess Sigworth, and she was very glad that she was able to "nab" her babies. Jess might be a loving mother most of the time, but who knows what could happen when she's under the influence?

Are the mothers impregnated by story progression, or do you decide?

I use story progression. As soon as there's a notification that some household is expecting, I turn off "Have baby," and turn it on again after the mother gives birth.

They grow up so fast. Isabel Sigworth soon became a calm infant...

...and her sister Ciara was a wiggly one.

Now they're toddlers. Ciara is fussy and Isabel is a charmer.

Clara Bjergsen is the last mother-to-be for a while.

Maisie has an almost-full house now, with Vernon and Weston Delgato, Ciara and Isabel Sigworth, and Julia and Jill Bjergsen.

With the new EP coming, I'm making a major change, playing with aging off. I want to keep some of the original townies around for when my nooboos start taking off on their soul's journey. That means I'll have to age everyone up manually:

    1. nooboos when they're good friends with Maisie.
    2. infants when they've tried their first food (which is about where they are when ready to age up on normal. I might keep them around until they've said their first word or learned to crawl.)
    3. toddlers when they have all skills at level 3 and one at level 5.
    4. children when they have completed a childhood aspiration and maxed a child skill.
    5. teens when they have completed a week of going to school, have attended prom, have reached the top of a part-time job or after-school activity, and have at least one character trait.

I'll save my young adults to the gallery. I don't think all of them will get to go on a Soul's Journey, but at least some of them will.

Ciara and Isabel Sigworth are able to feed themselves now.

They both like playing with the new dollhouse, complete with a little cemetery. Unfortunately, Isabel has the destructive quirk and sometimes takes out her feelings of neglect upon it.

Their mother Jess comes over sometimes to help, trying to pay attention to all the toddlers who don't get enough.

Maisie's old friend Akira comes too. Sigh. He won the lottery a while ago. If she weren't involved with these babies, things might have been different.

I've been busy finishing the Reaper's Rewards and trying to get a couple of households ready for L&D. But there's been some activity among Maisie's Nooboos.

Four of the toddlers are children now. From left to right: Isabel Sigworth, who is a goofball, Weston Delgato, who is erratic, Ciara Sigworth, who is self-assured, and Vernon Delgato, who is proper.

Jill and Julia Bjergsen are toddlers. Jill is inquisitive and Julia is fussy.

Both have the destructive quirk, which means that Maisie has to spend a lot of time repairing the dollhouse. She'll be happy when someone (probably Vernon) becomes a teen and can start doing repairs.
