Elena was born to be Queen and her father told her how she came from a line of warrior queens. Living as a rebel Elena was trained in magic by the grandson of a master mage. You and your friends then take the fight to Shirki where you manage to defeat her in a witch's duel and then burn her at the stake for her crimes.
Now as a young royal with no family left to turn to she looked for an alliance to form through marriage.
