The Sims has never allowed a child to hate/dislike their own children.
Wrong. http://sims.wikia.com/wiki/Dislikes_Children
But while we are on that subject I did like the Sims 3 trait version so much better. It felt so much more powerful. I think I would like Hates Children to have interactions like that.
I mean look at the difference @Gruffman.
"Game Description: These Sims become Angry around Children, become Tense after Try for a Baby, and can be Mean to Children.
Trait Mechanics: Get +1 Angry from being around a Child, even if they're rather far away. If you want the ability to be mean to children, this is the Trait for you (heh). This is a Trait to give your Sim some personality and nothing more."
"Sims will not enjoy being on lots with children.
Sims that dislike children will react negatively to talking about children.
Sims will often reject social interactions from children.
Sims will get a negative moodlet from socializing with children, holding, or taking care of babies.
Sims will autonomously use mean interactions on children.
Sims with the trait will reject the silly face interaction unless the sim is best friends with the said sim.
Male Sims that dislike children will get angry and argue with their wives if they announce that they are pregnant.
Sims will be able to "Shoo" children.
Sims are able to "gripe about children"."
It would be perfect trait if fleshed out more for all the people who hate toddlers. ;) I mean all the child abuse comments that get said about toddlers on forums. It would reflect well on how people behave in real life.
