Advice as to what to do with a space

Question

I am not entirely certain what to do with this space. It is a 3 tile wide hallway that is attached to the kitchen and dining room area. I don't want to put an office there. I am thinking something with plants and seating; however it cannot be too much because then it will look too cluttered. I want it to look clean, modern, but also ranch style (because the house is an updated ranch that blends country and sleek modern (I hope). Do you have any advice?

&nbsp;Could you perhaps make it into a small sitting area with a bar counter and perhaps musical instruments? You could include plants there also.

Might be a nice place for a art gallery or an indoor garden. Also a sideboard on the end closer to the dining table.&nbsp;

I ended up putting a fish tank in it and on the other side a bench with some plants&nbsp;

It's a hallway, it functions as a hallway, so you can't clutter it with lots of furniture. Maybe you could use the wall as a feature wall, and either paint a large mural on it or create a picture gallery. Or it could be a space to grow those fake meat plants, especially as it leads into the dining space.
