After school activities for kids and teens

What if your sim kids could do after school activities such as football, volleyball, cheerleading, etc etc
But what if your sims could go to their games? They could get a notification 3 days before the game like: "billy has a football game on Wednesday"

Well to answer your first question I meant football
    Globally "football" means soccer.
When kids play "football" in Australia, they usually mean AFL (Aussie Rules) or Soccer.
SO which "football" were you talking about? AFL (Aussie rules) or soccer? Or did you mean Rugby? Cos that's "football" too!

the reason I listed only sports is because that's what 'most' male children would do but after school clubs and things like that are included

Since you're taking a strange route, what would 'girls' do after school? Why only list 'boy' things?
Don't boys play in bands where you live? Aren't they scouts? Don't they do art?

When I was a kid, 'sport' night was thrusday. All sports practices happened then.
Music was an extra curricular activity that happened during school hours.
After school most kids had chores, or work, or homework to do, not much time for anything else. I don't really get the point of after school activities. Weekend activities? Sure! But not after school.

Whatever way you look at it, football is just not cricket!

Cricket is a very popular summer sport, played in many countries. It's second to football (soccer) as the most popular sport globally. Internationally, the biggest rivalry is between Australia and England, but you've also gotta watch out for New Zealand, India, South Africa, West Indies, Zimbabwe, Afghanistan, Ireland, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

    So why not include cricket?

I talking about NFL football also I have never heard of cricket before so that's why I didn't include it and girls in my town don't do alot of after school activities so that list is pretty short but yeah cross-country running uh cheerleading and that's about it band isn't an after school activity where I live

And scouts are in sims 4 seasons so they're already in the game

Oh, you're talking about a sport that's played in north america?
You might as well be talking about AFL.

also I have never heard of cricket before
    Really?
You've never heard of cricket? Never hear "That's just not cricket?"
I am amazed. You have me flabbergasted!

Why? Why do boys get to do things, but girls don't. And why is it all sport? Are there no Arts where you live?

I live in a small rural city now, and we've got a ballet school, and a theatre school that also teaches circus acrobatics. And there used to be an Irish dance school. There's also surf-lifesaving, but that's more of a summer thing.

Also, cheerleading isn't a high school thing in many countries at all. It seems very closely tied to your NFL

I'd rather 'after school' activities, be included in school time, or keep students rabbitholed for an extra hour to complete them, or be weekend activities.

Maybe if their was a snapchat or instagram after school club more girls would join cause in my school that's what all the girls are about except me

Amazing idea but there are mods kinda like that. KawaiiStacie does an afterschool activity mod which I have. Your child could do literally anything. My teen is a cheerleader and my kid does chess.

I have that mod. It's just great. Unfortunately when they released their last update, it made my game crash because of the mods I had. Grrrr to EA!

Girls actually do more like dancing, ballet or street, like you say cheerleading/drill team and they do play sports volleyball, tennis, ice skating, gymnastics, basketball, track, swimming, karate, fencing. Some girls play the piano, sing, act. Build stuff like LEGOs. Some girls have that as their after school activity but it also depends if their family had the means to pay or if the kid had any interest in the activity.
  • I'd rather have kids get more aspirations, so you can do more with their everyday activities.
