Now that he’s a young adult, Rhys moves out to Ridgeline Drive. Because he has the Rancher trait he adopts two sheep named Rufus and Rascal.

The property has the Reduce and Recycle lot trait, which means that trash builds up faster. Rhys buys a Recycle machine to take advantage of the increased materials he can use to fabricate items. After spending some time creating stock, Rhys opens up a Retail Store called Flagrant Fabrications, specializing in recycled home goods.

The house also has the Registered Vampire Lair trait. Rhys gets some interesting things in the mail from time to time.

Spending time in the Magical Realm meeting fellow spell casters helps Rhys max his reputation. He invites Atharv over to his house, where the Romantic Aura sets the mood.

Rhys spends some time at the gym in Del Sol Valley developing his fitness and Rock-climbing skill with the Rock-climbing wall. He needs both of these skills for his Renaissance Sim aspiration.

Rhys invites Atharv to the Romance Festival, but Rhys’ aunt Tabatha keeps butting in on their conversation. This is only a temporary setback. Soon Atharv moves in and they elope. They host a Ranch Animal Day in Ridgeline Drive in place of the wedding reception they didn’t have. Everybody is delighted with the adorable animals.

They’re too busy to travel for their honeymoon (they’re both civil designers and Rhys also has his furniture business). Instead, they go Roller Skating and, later, woohoo in Rhys’ Rocket Ship.

Upgrading his rocket ship with a landing computer helps Rhys reach level 10 of the Rocket Science skill.

Rhys and Atharv decide to have a science baby. Before they go to the lab, they have a quick baby moon, staying at a vacation Rental in Yukimatsu. Rhys has the chance to work on his Snow-boarding, one of the skills he needs for the Renaissance Sim aspiration.

Rhys and Atharv name their daughter Sonora, Sonny for short. This suits her because she has a Sunny personality.

Rhys finds out that there is an opening for a Dust-to-Dust Buster at the Netherworld Department of Death. Intrigued, he decides to quit his job as a green technician to join the Reaper Career. This is his third career, and he’s already reached level 8 or higher in six skills: fitness, snow-boarding, charisma, fabrication, Rocket science and Rock climbing. His Renaissance Sim aspiration is complete, and from now on, he’ll be able to write skill books in any skill he’s mastered.

One day, his boss, the Grim Reaper, follows him home. Rhys is puzzled by this at first, then he remembers that Rosalie the goat is very elderly. Rhys was particularly attached to Rosalie and watching her go broke his heart. He decided he didn’t want any more ranch animals, so he took a Re-traiting potion and change his trait from Rancher to Macabre.

They still have a single ranch animal left in their household, Rapscallion the sheep. Now that Sonny is a Silly toddler, she loves telling jokes to Rapscallion.
