After finishing high school, Sonny and Miak move out to Senbamachi, to a home with the Sunny Aspect and Science Lair traits. The Sunny Aspect trait helps inspire Sonny’s photography that she needs for her Stylist career. The Science Lair trait helps Miak build the logic skill that he needs for his astronaut career.

Before long, Sonny finds out that she’s pregnant. Maybe the timing isn’t the best, but Sonny can’t help feeling excited. She converts the side room to a nursery and hopes that she will do everything right so that she can become a Super Parent with a Successful Lineage. They name their baby Tetsuya. Although she now has the Slob trait, she’s not worried about cleaning up after a baby because she can do that with magic. Completing the early stages of her parenting aspirations gives her enough points to purchase the Great Storyteller trait.

Her income as a lower-level Style Influencer only goes so far. Sonny brings in some extra money by offering massages and meditation classes at a Spa, hoping to become a Self-Care Specialist, and stealing artwork from museums with her Sticky Fingers.

When Tetsuya is in elementary school, Sonny wants to help him explore his Indian heritage by taking him to the Spice Festival. Toward the end of the festival, she completes the Spellcraft and Sorcery aspiration by winning a duel with another spellcaster.

She also takes Testuya to the Festival of Snow in Mt Komorebi, where he masters his social skills by talking to the other kids, completing part of Sonny’s Successful Lineage aspiration. During the festival, Sonny gets in some time on the slopes and masters her Snowboarding skill.

Sonny thinks their family is happy, when Miak dropps a bombshell on her. He is being summoned back to his home planet and he wants to take Tetsuya with him. In the dead of night, Sonny packs her things and takes Tetsuya to their new home in Strangerville. It’s a Small home, barely big enough for the two of them, but it will have to do.

Their home is down the street from the Strangerville Information Center. Sonny discovers that she can take Space Prints using the observatory there.

The trailer has the Spooky and Scare-Seeker traits (the house in Senbamachi did too, but it didn’t have a noticeable effect). Sonny and Tetsuya receive a visit from the ghost of cousin Aubree, but it leaves them energized instead of scared.

Sonny and Tetsuya visit their relatives in Moonwood Mill for Winterfest. They Sing Winterfest Songs and go outside for a Snowball fight.

Part of Sonny’s job as a Stylist involves going out to night spots and checking out the fashions. While visiting Discotheque Pan Europa, she was impressed with Candy Behr’s style. The two became friends and Sonny even joined the Spin Masters Club.

Tetsuya has been making friends in Strangerville. Sonny decides to host a beach day for Tetsuya and all of his teenaged friends. While the kids hang out, Sonny enjoys Swimming and building Sandcastles. She even starts a Seashell collection.
