What happened with Fire – Part 3

Fire‘s view

After we finished, I went to the kitchen to eat something. Before I could do so, I had to barf in the next hedge. I wiped my lippes and saw that Danera went to Parallo‘s bedroom.
I decided to sneak after her and listen to them.

„I can‘t believe you do that to me! You treat her like a princess, but I say you she is not worth it! She is just an amazon.“ Danera yelled at her husband.
„Calm down. It was just the first day. I will treat her like every other woman. You know you are my special one. I mean, I married you honey.“
I was speachless and knew I know this was the moment I should had left the tribe. I didn‘t. I stayed. I felt so sick and weak and I was worried of my child. If I hadn‘t been pregnant at that moment, I thought I would ran away in the minute I saw Parallo was already married.
I only thought of my child. I didn‘t want that it was without a father like most of the amazon children.
I also feared that I would have to run away without any help. I knew I couldn‘t return to tribe Naheli. I did too much wrong.

Finally I went into the kitchen. Tiana was there and she tried to cheer me up. It didn‘t help me. I just wanted to escape in a dream, where everything was alright again, so Tiana showed me the beds for normal tribe members. Exhausted of my pregnancy I felt asleep immediately.

At the breakfast Parallo set next to me. He looked very strict at me.
„Now you are a real tribe member. You know with that comes duties. You have to clean up, wash the dishes, repair broken things, cook and make sure the men are feeling well.“
I didn‘t dare to answer. I was shocked, even though I heard the conversation of him and Danera. Now I was like a slave with one difference: it was even worse than that.

My pregnancy made me feel really sick and I set down to the fire lot. Soon Zuru joined me and startet immediately to shout at me.
„You should work, woman. Didn‘t you understand our leader?“
„Of course, but…“

„Talk to someone, that is interested in your excuses! And now better start!“
There was more in Zuru‘s eyes than anger. Something that frightend me more.

I was very angry and I rushed inside to do something. I didn‘t want that my baby realise how bad I felt.

After I cleaned, repaired things and whatever I had to do, I went inside to eat something. I was very hungry.

To my bad luck Zuru was inside the dining room. He yelled at Tiana that he wanted brownies. He ignored me at that moment and I was able to eat something.

Tiana started to work and Zuru‘s attention went back on me.

„YOU! I only see you sitting around! Better do the washing up or you will be sent to the house of punishment!“

I did what he wanted. I was tired to offer resistance. Even though I was angry inside.

Meanwhile Zuru and Tiana ate the delicious smelling brownies.

After that I was too angry to go asleep. I decide to use the training equipment as a ventil for my anger. It felt right to do it and it remembered me of better times.

„FIRE! Only men are allowed to train! If I should see you training again you will be punished for that.“
I hated him in that moment. I decided to run away as soon as possible.
„In the bathroom was a broken shower. Clean it up.“

While I did what Parallo wanted, I got a strange feeling. It was like I was watched. I had to be careful and plan my escape very exact.
