Well, you mustn't overheat your little grey cells, so I see the hat is out. A cursed sweater it is then. If you haven't enough yarn, you could size it for a cat. That sounds cursed as the cat would probably not receive your gift kindly. Alas, there are not enough scars in the game to update your sim-self if you tried to put a sweater on a cat.
You could knit a special attachment for ergonomically designed twin carriers so that you can secure extra snacks. It's just a thought.
