Any ideas for character and lot traits?

I’d love for eco-friendly, can’t stand art, coward, brave, diva, loser, dramatic, animal person, no sense of humor, mooch, never-nude, no sense of humor, overemotional, proper, schmoozer, socially awkward, and technophobe to return from 3.

Some character traits I’d like are
clueless - gets dazed often
selfish - hates giving gifts and paying bills, gets angry when doing activities with other sims like building a snowpal
hates animals - similar to hates children but for pets
greedy - all the 7 deadly sims exist in some way besides this one. gets angry when spending money and gifting simoleons. loves earning and being gifted simoleons
patient - rarely gets angry from conversations, one of the 7 virtues
grounded - rarely gets tense and doesn’t like lavish things or getting promoted, conflicts with snob and materialistic and ambitious, another virtue
resilient - can still do all activities even when very uncomfortable, can never pee pants, good at holding bladder
always nude - loves streaking, hates wearing clothes for long periods of time
laidback - makes things faster but of lower quality, rarely gets tense, conflicts with perfectionist
hates the outdoors - doesn’t like going to public lots or being in nature, conflicts with loves the outdoors
mature - opposite of childish, doesn’t like playing games or creative activities, loves woohooing and going to work, conflicts with childish
arrogant - becomes focused more like genius but gets happy from being mean, gets tense around geniuses
arsonist - can start fires on demand
consistent - stays in all emotional states longer
feral - can runaway like pets, animal-like
dull - rarely gets focused or creative, gets bored often, conflicts with genius and creative
loves children - gains parenting skill faster, conflicts with hates children and childish
insomniac - can never get the “asleep” emotional state, must refill energy with coffee
amnesiac - moodlet duration is cut in half
rebellious - argumentative, hates older sims and ones in higher positions and their bosses
loyal - romantic socials mostly fail when not flirting with SO, is mean to sims who aren’t their friends, gets sad instead of angry when they see their SO flirting, likes older sims and superiors, conflicts with rebellious, jealous, unflirty, and romantic
raver - loves juice and gets confident during social events, conflicts with loner
bashful - gets embarrassed more easily or during conversations with more than 1 person, becomes confident in 1 on 1 conversations.

Haven’t really thought about lot traits yet but those are all the personality ones I have. These are just ideas, some of them might be too insignificant to add, but I could see many of them adding variety to the game. Do y’all have any you’d like to share?

  • These are actually some really nice traits. I especially like the flawed and quirky traits like the Insomniac and Feral traits. Some traits in your list seem to be similar though. Like the Selfish and Greedy traits. Plus, they seem rather redundant due to the Materialistic and Snob traits. Most of your traits are quite interesting though.

I have a few ideas of my own on Personality Traits. Here's my list:

1.) Narcissistic: It is all about them. They are easily confident with themselves, but easily get angry and tense once insulted and criticized. They are often selfish and demanding. Since they already believe that they are "The Best", they often get bored once attempting to learn new skills and tend to learn skills much slower.
This should help with your Selfish, Greedy, and Arrogent traits. Plus, Narcissists can have their own unique interactions. Like Talk about Self and Claim to be Better than Other.

2.) Sophisticated/Civil: He/She is a sim of Wealth, but primarily, Taste. They are often polite, formal, professional, and traditional. Sims with this trait are often liked and respected among the others. Primarily Snobs. But be warned! Never mistake Civility for Ethics.

3.) Technophile: These sims are all about the newest gadgets. Computers, Phones, Portables, even Technological Art! Your sims want to experience the future and experience it now! Technophiles can increase their Handiness and Programming skills much faster than other sims. They often feel uncomfortable or tense once away from technology for way too long. They can discuss the newest Tech to other sims and Hack with their phones.

4.) Morbid: This sim happens to be fascinated with Death. Your sims tend to ponder about Death and will not hesitate to converse with the Grim Reaper. These sims will receive positive emotions for mourning graves and might attempt to call upon ghosts.

5.) Cowardly: These sims tend to get jumpy and skittish. They tend to get scared and tense easily. Ghosts, Aliens, Vampires, Darkness, Death, Their Boss, it doesn't matter. They'll experience fear.
This would be a good trait to introduce the Fear Emotion to The Sims 4.

6.) Brave: These sims won't hesitate to take risks. They are often confident and heroic. The spooky and grim often don't effect these Sims.
I was contemplating on The Sims 4 having a Fearless Reward Trait, but I'm not completely sure since it would be redundant for Cowardly sims to potentially receive/earn this reward trait.

Hope you like my ideas on Traits! Your traits are definitely interesting and I'd like to see some of them in the game.
  • I wish that they add all the traits from Sims 3 back in Sims 4. I mess having Sims not only love the outdoors, but also hate it if i want. Or the "can't stand art" to oppose to the art lover trait. I used to play with couples that had different personalities to see how they would react to eachother, but in Sism 4 thats not possible anymore.
