Yes, we need 

The September 2024 Expansion Pack survey did include an idea for adding malls, which would also have included arcades. I'm not sure how well that pack idea polled, so therefore no idea if it will ever be made. But it does at least show that the Maxis team is aware of that desire and considering making it. The problem with that survey is that they had too many good ideas and it was hard to pick between them (you were limited to just your one or two favorites). In any case, I would love to see, at the very least, the mall / arcade idea realized. Not just for teens but as another place to go! If they were very ambitious, this could perhaps also be an active career area that would work for teens (working in the mall, etc.), although I don't know if that would conflict with it also being a visitable destination (same as you cannot visit the Get to Work hospital unless having a baby).

Teens got a bit of an update with High School years which added some of those things you are listing, they got updated animations, voice lines, they could have first crushes, there was bullying (which I hated) and they also got some more jobs and after school activities, although those were rabbit holes...

I agree about the clothing, I actually downloaded some cc where they had converted the items in the first fits kit and they work really well for teens in my opinion, we should have more clothing like that for teens.

But I agree that teens could be developed more, although they have kinda locked them in now with High School years, teens are now busy almost the whole day in high school, have exam every Friday and prom every Saturday, something needs to be done about that first (like allowing us to toggle them).

There's too much bullying in this game as it is, no need to add more.

I mean some fashion kits have updated my Sims teen clothes like the grunge, the goth, the pretty allure.
