Annie's been busy gardening and hasn't really made time for painting lately, and with all the simoleons she's growing in her garden, she's also been spending some time creating a blueprint for her base game legacy house.
It's been so fun playing base game. I haven't started with 0 in base game in so long, it was kinda nostalgic. Usually I go immediately to grafting for dragonfruit, since that's my get rich quick go-to, but with the event, I went a route I hadn't before, and Annie's almost ready to harvest her first ever death flower!! I've never grafted a death flower in game before since I'm typically a life span off, play it safe kinda gal.
I'm not sure I'm loving the living room, but I wanted to try creating a gathering area for in-home business meetings. I love the kitchen, however, and the rest of the house is just set up to work on as I go.
I've also never got this achievement before, befriending the grim reaper. I like having new goals that get me out of my rut.
Rough draft first blue print of Annie's future home. She's been "saving up" ie. grafting and harvesting lots of expensive plants on the regular.
Not sure about the living room...we'll see how it feels after living in it for a bit. But I LOVE the way the kitchen/dining turned out.
I made the kitchen/dining first, and then added on the rest of the house blue print.
It is great that Annie is about to harvest her first death flower! 🙂 Her gardening area is very nice. Congratulations to her achieving the friend with Grim Reaper achievement! Her home is looking very nice. The layout is great. The kitchen and dining room design and furnishing is lovely. The dining area is nice and sunny to enjoy eating meals while looking out through the windows.

I've not built many houses in the game but with the few I did I always started building in the middle or started with one room and added on to that.
Annie's kitchen and dining room are very spacious and inviting. Does she have any cooking skills yet?
Yeah, she's a 10 in cooking, but just got started with gourmet.
I used to be more of a builder than a live mode player. I definitely build differently when it's all at once vs build as you go, but since she doesn't have to worry about seasons, the simoleons are rolling in very quickly. I usually have 28 days on, so I'm not only waiting for different harvestable to spawn, I need a green house to graft many of them. But with base game this doesn't feel like I'm catching up, lol, it feels like I'm cheating.
