Becoming Royal Challenge [Sims 4] | By: ResSteel

Rules:

You can only live and travel in Willow Creek

If you have Get Together then you can live or travel to Windenburg

If you have Island Living then you can live or travel to Sulani

You may choose to play in whatever time period you wish (Medieval, Victorian, Renaissance, etc.) except modern (see below for the modern time period version of the challenge).
You start with 500 Simoleons (You will obviously need to use some cheats beforehand to set everything up, but once you have finished and are ready to start set your simoleons to 500)
All Sims in Willow Creek (and/or Windenburg/Sulani) must be in the correct time period outfits (CC required).
Any Sims not in the correct wear can NOT be interacted with.
All houses and other places (Bar, Gym, Library, etc) must be replaced with correct time period looking buildings.
The largest plot in Willow Creek (and/or Windenburg/Sulani) must be the Palace.
The King, Queen, and Prince(s)/Princess(es) must live in the Palace.
The second largest plot is the market (can be a park lot).
Your family consists of 2 adult parents (elder if you want more of a challenge) and your main Sim who will be a teenager. You can include a younger sibling sim if you wish to.
You must live on a small plot with a house that consists of 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.
Your only source of income is through gardening, as your family are farmers, and fishing, BUT you may only fish 2 times a week, Monday - Friday, and only sell fish you collect. Any random items you get from fishing can not be sold. You can only sell garden items and fish on market days.
When you first start off you will need to gather food and plants from around the neighborhood that you can plant in the farm to grow and sell later on as you start out with nothing.
Since your family are just farmers you must have poor clothing, nothing fancy as you are not noble or quite wealthy
No electronics or technology related items are allowed. You can use lights/lamps though if you wish as they really only affect lighting, but do try to use any candle lit items if you are able to.
When it comes to necessities for surviving in the game you are allowed to have an oven and fridge, but you must choose the cheapest options or the most correct time period styled looking ones. Same goes for showers, sinks, and toilets.
Sims age length can either be normal or long
Children can still go to school and so can teenagers except on the days they fish.
If a sim wants you to go somewhere that is not Willow Creek, or Windenburg, then you can not go.
Saturday is market day. On market day you can go to whatever plot that you have made into the market and this is where you will be allowed to sell any food or fish you have acquired that week.
Any leftover money that you have that was not spent from going to The Ball (see next section below) can be used to upgrade your Sims clothing, garden area, and house. It costs 200 simoleons per sim to upgrade their clothing/hair.

The Ball:

A ball occurs every Sunday at the Palace, but not during the Winter and only once in the Summer if you have Seasons that is.
You must have 1000 simoleons before you can attend a ball
With the 1000 simoleons you are to change your Sims outfit/hair for the ball and travel to it. When you return home after the ball you are to go back to how your sim looked before.
Interact with people at the ball, especially with the prince/princess.
On the first visit you are to become friends with the prince/princess
On the second visit you are to begin a romantic friendship with the prince/princess
On the third visit you want to have now become boyfriend/girlfriend with the prince/princess
On the fourth visit you will want to propose to the prince/princess, but you can only do this if you are a young adult now. If they reject the proposal then you have failed the challenge.

Goals:

Support your family by running the farm and going fishing when allowed
Meet the Prince or Princess
Becomes friends on the first visit, romantic on the second, and become boyfriend/girlfriend on the third
On the fourth visit you will want to propose to the prince/princess, but you can only do this if you are a young adult now. If they reject the proposal then you have failed the challenge.
Get married and become royal along with your family
Having children is optional
By the end of the challenge you should be living in the castle with the former King and Queen, their child (Now your husband or wife), and your family

Get Famous:

If you have this pack I recommend making the royal family be listed as “Global Superstars” to make it more of a challenge when it comes to your Sim trying to befriend the prince/princess.

Get Together & Island Living:

The worlds of Windenburg and Sulani are allowed to be used instead if you have these packs, but just be sure to have all time correct clothing on sims in these worlds and replace any buildings that are on the modern side with time correct buildings

Other Packs:

Any CAS items from any of the other packs may be used as long as they fit the time period you chose or are close enough to it.
Any Build/Buy mode items from any of the other packs may be used as long as they fit the time period you chose or are close enough to it.
Seasons may be turned on or off. It is completely up to you.
A Cat or Dog is a welcome addition your family, but not required
Occults (Wizards and Vampires) are allowed to exist, but your main sim is not allowed to be either of them and neither is the royal family at birth. You can become one however if you meet a Wizard or Vampire and ask to become one.

Bonus:

If you wish to keep playing after you complete the challenge then as a bonus challenge you can have your Sim (who is royal now) have a child. When they become a teen have them go to the market on market days in a disguise and fall in love with a villager (another sim from the kingdom).
