BESTIES Challenge [NEW]
Based on the TV show FRIENDS, I bring you the BESTIES challenge! All living in the same apartment building, this challenge follows a group of Sims as they journey from strangers to inseparable BESTIES...

Notes/Suggestions:
- *It is best to NOT choose the following aspirations for the ‘Dream Big’ goal: Successful Lineage, Big Happy Family, Super Parent. This is because they conflict with the ‘Doting Parent’ goal, and require you to be an adult to complete. Similarly, it will be hard to complete ‘Mansion Baron’ as it requires you landscaping your home, not available if you’re in an apartment.
- If a BESTIE ages up to an adult the challenge has failed. The idea is that this is their 20’s/Young Adulthood.
- You can set the Lifespan to whatever you like, but personally, ‘Normal’ is too short and ‘Long’ is too long so I will set a custom 60 - 80 day lifespan for my Sims with MC Command Center. Not sure how it will go – I’ll share updates!
- Outside of the general parameters the story is up to you. Your BESTIES can do anything, and be anyone! Maybe you want to base them off the TV characters, maybe you want them to fit your own parameters – make your own story!
- For storyline purposes I think the City Living and Get Famous packs add great value/opportunity within the story. For example, with City Living I can have all of my BESTIES in the same apartment building as neighbors – I am going to spread them all between the 4 apartments in Culpepper House. You could arrange your BESTIES in any way you like, but I think having them spread over 2+ apartments is more fun and realistic. The more apartments the better!
- If you want to you could put a crazy neighbor in the building for entertainment/story arcs (similar to the series; they had Mr Heckles/U**y N**ed Guy from across the road)
- If a BESTIE’s partner moves in I think they should only be able to bring a set amount of money, around $5,000 simoleons. But again, this is your call!
- If any of the BESTIES sharing an apartment move out, take away the corresponding percentage of the funds from the apartment they move out of, and move it into the new one i.e. If 1 BESTIE moves out of a 3 BESTIE apartment, that 1 BESTIE takes 1/3 of the money.
- The ending of the challenge is based on the final episode of the series where everyone moves on to new things on the same day. I think this is a nice way to round it off, hence my decision to make this the official ending, plus have the ‘Loved Up’ challenge only be able to be technically finished on the final day.
