I took a break from TS4 for a few weeks and just came back to my History Challenge, so I'm only in the Great Sim Frontier. But the one goal I couldn't complete in the Renaissance was the 'Jam Session' one. How do you have a jam session in TS4? It seems silly that after 5 years of playing I don't know this, but even Google was no help on that one!
The "Jam" interaction isn't available until all participating Sims are level 4 in their respective instrument. I *think* you can have different instruments, but if for some reason it doesn't show up then I'd try everyone on the same instrument. If after all that it's still not an option, having them play their instruments at the same time in the same room is effectively the same.
