One of the first builds I did last January was a mission-style family starter home in Oasis Springs.

In retrospect, I don't think I put enough windows in that entrance area.

Aside from not having enough windows, I also forgot interior lighting completely. Also, I was still holding onto a bit of my old Sims 2 tendency to have big rooms full of nothing.

Here's a slightly closer view of one of the kids' rooms, the master bedroom, the bathroom, the dining room and a little bit of the kitchen. Again, pretty much big rooms full of nothing.

And a better look at the kitchen. That and the master bedroom were probably where the lack of lighting is most obvious.

As bad as that was, it's still less horrible than my Sims 2 builds. And I like to think that my builds have improved since last January, so I'll be sharing some of my better work later, I promise! :)
