He never had a proper job but spent most of the day fishing and gardening, which turned to be quite profitable - he earned more money than Maranda by it. Dragonfruit in particular sells really well. He had produce more or less every other day and got around 4,000 every time her harvested his crops. I did get rid of all of the plants once he was no longer around though because you do need to put a lot of time in to them.
