August Challenge
The challenge for this time is to design a house from this picture. Your build can be on any size lot and any style you choose. There is no budget but please do not use any custom content. Please hashtag with #BB41 and #AlJay2000 when you upload it to the gallery. As always, if you wish to make a household for your new build, please feel free to do that as well!
If you need a starting point, I have uploaded a shell to the gallery for you to use. This is just a guide and can be put on any size lot with any wall and foundation height.
*Note* The picture shows stairs to a basement so you can use your creativity to finish the basement in any way you wish, or you can just choose to leave it out.
I am excited to begin this challenge again and I am looking forward to seeing everyone's creativity.
I will see what kind of response I get to this challenge before I decide when the closing date is. I may let it run a little longer. Tell your friends, lol :)
Nice work trinican ! I like the contrast between the nicely decorated main floor and the more lived in look of the basement. The color scheme is very attractive as well.

The home is lovely! 🙂 Very nice exterior design,great pool and very nice pergola to enjoy sitting outdoors. The hopscotch and basketball area is great. The interior furnishing is lovely. Very nice design of the living, kitchen and dining area,and brown, white, orange colours. The kids play nook is very nice.

Great new Challenge for August AlJay2000 😊 Wonderful to see this Challenge thread here and active on the new Forums. I was always following it on the original Sims Forums, but I didn't participate in the challenge there yet, now I'm looking forward to participating in it here on the new Forums (I'm still trying to learn how to use this new Forum and get used to it) 😊

It is a lovely family home 🙂The gardenbed is very nice and great pool and outdoors dining patio. The flowers along the front fencing are pretty. The interior furnishing is lovely. The basement home cinema,gym and sauna areas are very nice. The imgur pictures link doesn’t seem to be working for me. I looked at the gallery pictures.
AlJay2000 I have started to decorate and color the August house, but I am afraid that I will not make it this month. I am going on vacation at the beginning of September and have quite a few events in the next few weekends. 😬
No worries MonaSolstraale I think I will let this challenge run until the end of September

Additional Notes: I made some changes: the space that was the laundry room in the blueprint, I turned that into two separate bathrooms (the other one is a half bath, and the other is a full bath). And the space that was a bathroom (the room next to the entry area in the blueprint), I turned that into a study/office. The laundry room I placed to the basement floor, and there I also added a second living room (The TV room) , a gym room and one more bedroom + bathrooms. I also wanted to add a terrace where there is an outdoor dining area, barbecue and a bar. Otherwise the layout is quite much the same as in the blueprint (although some window placements might be slightly different). I had a lot of fun doing this Challenge! 😊
Space for Pictures:It is a very lovely family home! 🙂 Very nice outdoors dining and bar patio. The raised hot tub pergola is great and very nice kids play area. The flowerbeds and flowers are pretty and great gardening nook. The interior furnishing is lovely! Very nice design of each room and area. The colours are very nice. The bedrooms are lovely.
