oh gosh the sensitivity you find is ridiculous, your family is adorable don't you waste any more breath or time on anyone giving you attitude. I'm not even middle age and I can think how back in the good old days......no one had a fit over a white sim family with a color set for both sides. You didn't do anything wrong by setting it up that way and can make your sims in however way you like.
