Hello :)
I'm currently organising a building competition on the Dutch forums and I've decide to translate the assignments into freeform challenges (no deadlines, you can build whichever one(s) you want). I've posted the first three on my Simblr, I still have to translate 4 and 5. There will probably be a few more after that. Each of the challenges/assignments is accompanied by a building guide, so it shouldn't be too hard ;) You can find them on this page, along with a short general instruction: https://mdianasanders.tumblr.com/tagged/build_challenge/chrono
Should these challenges prove "popular" I'm willing to open a thread for it here on the forums, so that whoever did one of them can share the result in said thread.
