Building a wall question

The grid isn't the problem. I just wish the wall building tool would could out the squares. If I want to make an wall eight squares long, I have to count them manually. In TS4 it'll show you how many squares long your wall is as you build it.

TS4 doesn't count the squares for you as it does in TS3. It's on the list people have asked for but whether it will ever happen...???

It would be welcome if they added it, but I honestly don’t notice it being gone that often. Most rooms are between 4 and 8 to a side. Zooming in and drawing them isn’t hard. With the ability to copy and rotate rooms, along with saving them, there isn’t much need. In my opinion anyway.
