Building tip: Move entire house to different / bigger lot

Hi guys, I couldn't find any info on this via Google, so for anyone who is trying to do the same thing, I thought I'd share how I figured out how to move my entire house to a new lot. So I start...

Yes, you can do that :) When moving, choose the option to sell the furniture. Then when your sims have moved to the bigger lot, open the gallery, and place onto the lot the saved home from your library.
