Just a little reminder to simmers in case they weren't aware that there were debug lights that came in the lastest patch update! :) They don't transfer yet to the gallery, but are great to use in builds for our own selves.
I saw them and they don't put out much light. I'm hoping when they become "official" that the bugs will be worked out and they actually light up an area like the old debug lights in Sims 3.
I went to the library today and got some new floor plan books. So, my tip? Check out your local library. Mine has two (TWO!!) entire sections on glorious stuff that I can use on builds (that's hundreds of books...hundreds). Everything from floor plans to swimming pool designs to interior design to landscaping. I was like a kid in a candy store. I rarely venture outside the floor plan section of the library so was surprised to see all the other books I had overlooked.
And....the best part? There will be multiple books on houses found in your own area.
ETA: I checked out 5 books and the librarian says "Oh, you've got all the same type of books...." and gives me a questioning look. I rather sheepishly (yes, I get embarrassed admitting I play a game) say "Oh, I like to build in Sims" and she starts gushing "Oh, my sister and I do that all the time!" Then another librarian chimes in that she is also a builder. HEHEHE! Sim builders are everywhere.
