Same challenge new name and hashtag. This is where the challenge will be forever be updated, no more changes..lol Shelly's Premades is a monthly challenge where a wheel is spun and it picks a premade household from a pre-chosen world. Open to everyone! Rules: Makeover CAS (some or all of them, your choice) Build rooms that represent them (some or all of them, your choice) Remodel/build their home No CC/ No Defaults You can do 1, 2, or all 3 of these options if you choose. Judith Ward Collection
Not sure if this is something I should ask on here, but I downloaded the Judith Collection (Bedroom, Living Room, Walk-In Closet, and Bathroom) by TaurusDesign and wanted to know if anyone knew or has made any builds consisting of this cc? I wasn't exactly sure how I would search for this in the gallery, and I honestly don't know how to build which is why I'm looking for something I can start from, and if needed, renovate. Wisteria Glen Cemetery
Wisteria Glen Cemetery is up for download on the gallery! Built on Twin Oracle Point in Newcrest, this is a beautiful lot for funerals and laying your Sims to rest. A small stream separates a set of crypts from the rest of the graveyard, and the old Victorian building is beautiful both for funeral ceremonies and small weddings, if your Macabre Sims fancy eloping at the graveyard! The second floor is functional as a reception area, with a dance floor, bar, and buffet table! Quite a lot of hours went into this build this week, so I hope you all enjoy it! Keeping Up the Creative
Sul Sul and Happy Friday Simmers! Today I want to feature a build I was inspired to do while watching all the K-Drama's that I enjoy watching. There is something cozy about an Asian convenience store that I just appreciate so much. Taking it one step further, I enjoy a family-owned property with the business attached. You will find that many of my builds have the work/home feature because I have always wanted to have some kind of shop in the same property I live in. This build took me a long time to put together because I wanted a lot of detail and clutter in the build. I love to do realistic builds, and I put a lot of thought and effort in what I place in my build to make it look as if maybe you have been there to these places. Sul Sul and Happy Friday to you my fellow Simmers! Today I want to share with you a build that I did that was actually QTSimz first shell challenge. It was shaped as a QT and I was so stumped by what I wanted to do at first. So I pondered it and thought a cafe with a small apartment would be such an awesome challenge to do. Most of my shell challenges are named after the Simmer I am building them for, so I named this one QT's Cafe. Since we were still in the Fall/Halloween season, I did want to theme it to fit the season. So I did a little bit of both by using the Halloween theme in the cafe and I also did a communal area that has a playground, food stalls and pumpkin carving stations. Following is my backstory for the build: QT just bought an old building and decided to open a small cozy cafe. With her small apartment in the back, she enjoys sitting on her front patio and watch all the people having a good time in the park behind the building. I am going to be truly honest when I say that I was so shocked by the amount of downloads this build got. Never in my dreams would I imagine that 238 people could love a build as much as I enjoyed putting it together. I am still wondering how that happened...hahahaha!😂 It definitely was a sweet surprise!😁 Do you guys have any builds that you are shocked got so many downloads? Once upon a time I was a Sims 3 builder, I had three featured builds and even was a guest blogger (featured blog to pair with the new Midnight Hollow world). But alas I heard Sims 4 had no Create-a-Style so I didn't join the move, however, after hearing no Sims 5 last year and a rather intriguing pack L&D, I decided to try. I really didn't actually play much till this year though, and barely built. But I decided to start up again with the challenge of no Create-a-Style. WIP Monster High World
I wanted to share what I'm working on, I'm making my own world, I'm looking for feedback, I've collected lots from the exhange and built my own lots. The world contains it's own description, animated Icon and picture. The world map, contains it's own Icons, descriptions. I still need to place the sims in the world, I've got about 40-50 free slots, in the world to place the monster high sims, I used mainly Rental units like dorms, to increase this count. Skelen Moania was the founder of New Salem, I wanted to give the town more identity than just being place where monster high is, so this is the lot she currently lives in. Skelen Moania, owns the local graveyard, but it's used more like a nightclub than graveyard, it's where the monster high students goto party. Coffin Bean Café is the hottest haunted spot in town for Monster High students to come after school, whether they want to hit the biteology books, chit chat while playing with monster pets, or enjoy scaretastically scrumptious snacks. The truth of the matter is that, I'm not actual a massive fan of monster high, but I do enjoy creating worlds , especially worlds with a good amount of law. What can be difficult for me, is when i build a lot, I always consider gameplay first for example that Coffin Bean Café cost less than 18K, it makes me think outside the box to make something look good on tighter budjet. I've downloaded so many fantastic lots from the exchange only to bin them, due to making the game, load forever and I just wish some builders will actual play test the lots. Just don't get me started on the move objects cheat, when I download a lot I always seem to have 10 cupboards infront of my bed.😄 I've got no plans to share the world file, I don't won't to face the wrath of the plagiarism police, but if anybody is intrest, I will post the links to everything I've used and setup instructions. The only mods I'm using are stuff I can use and edit myself, I'm trying to keep the world Custom Content free, I did make a small mod that changes the text, to say Monster high instead of Copperdale school, that was for immersion. I also use the Home Regions mod to help setup sims, I don't wont a NPC from Willow Creek walking past my door while I'm playing in a monster world and vice versa, keeps everybody where they should be.
