Ooh, this is fun! Well, not so much fun for Zoë, but a very enjoyable read. I attempted an apocalypse chanllenge once upon a time but didn't get very far, so following through vicariously through your sims sounds like a good plan! I really like how you've managed to explain some of the weirder rules (like the house size limits) in a way that makes narrative sense! I'm enjoying youwr writing style and the pictures are beautiful, they really capture how grim her world is right now.
Spoiler
I'm liking Zoë a lot, even though she's being far too hard on herself! Asking someone to move in so quickly seems very believable in her circumstances. Looks like they are bonding through their shared trauma. But even if she was right and he did just want someone to hold at night, that's still ok in their situation, they both still get something out of it. Not that I think this is the case - facing the apocalypse together will bond them no matter what anyway, he seems like a guy who cares (about her and people in general), and you know, he's Salim. I've always liked Salim ?
Edit: Forgot to say that the ruins of her original family home on her lot are a nice touch, what a great idea!
