Can you play with the sims limited pack challenge legacy?

Since we got a pack selection.I decided on a challenge.Basically play the sims,but you have limited packs.Your goal is to have a least have a have three generation legacy  complete.The other goal is ...

Oh, this is interesting. I just thought, what if I remove the packs that I've owned the longest? Would I be able to relearn how to play the game without Seasons, Get Together, etc?
