You would probably need to start from scratch due to the fact that you earn points from skillbuilding and aspiration stage completion since premade sims keep their skills and such.Ah yes... oops had not thought of that.
I might still make an identical twin in CAS for the genetics. Then I will still have a fresh Sim.
