I really like how everything is coming along so far! You're doing a great job, @Lizzie1234! :)
To implement the chaos mechanism, I'd like to suggest something! You could have two lists - one with a list of crises, and the second with the permutations of realms that would be affected by a chaos (ie. one realm, two realms, three, or all four). People can then use a random number generator to pick between these as the need arises. And it might be good for them to also randomly generate the realms that would be affected at each given time, after they use the first two lists to determine what chaos would occur and how many kingdoms would be involved.
So to summarise, it might go like this:
1. Player rolls 8, which turns out to be war under List 1.
2. Player then rolls 3, which signifies three kingdoms who will be affected by the war (out of a possible 4 kingdoms).
3. Player then rolls Heart, which will be the kingdom against which war is waged.
4. Player then rolls Spade and Club kingdoms respectively, thereby choosing the kingdoms that will be at war. The Diamond kingdom is not involved in the war, but is a neutral party.
This system definitely needs some fine-tuning! And feel free to disregard or edit this as you think fit. :)
