Client will not show up to commercial gigs ( Dream Home Decorator)

hi! has anyone else had issues where they have a commercial gig to renovate but the client will not show up anywhere on the lot? I've had a couple times where i would search for them, like landgraab for instance but he was at his house. and when i tracked him down there, suddenly i lost the gig :(.
