Cor!! So nice to see you here! Love all your cool simmies and lovely builds.
Your restaurant wip is looking great! I've never tried the rags to riches challenges... Maybe something to think about. Nice idea to having the apartment right upstairs. Less loading time, when it's time to open. :p
Thank you for your lovely comments on a few of my rooms over in the gallery, Cor  I wanted to leave a comment on your profile page but can't, so I'm really happy to see you've started a showcase thread. Plus now I can keep up with what your up too :D
You picked a great time to come back, with the new toddlers. They are just SO cute! Love the pics of your family enjoying their renovated apartment. I'm always planning to set aside some time to play but then the building bug bites and I'm off. I only end up playing enough to test everything out and make sure it works. One of these days though...
Have a blast playing and creating, Cor! Can't wait to see how your restaurant comes along.
Hi Cath! Super awesome to see you here again too! Aw thanks, glad you like them.
Never tried the rags to riches challenge before either, but I figured, since it's so easy to make money in Sims 4, why not? :D And it's actually been great fun! Plus, it gives me time to enjoy the game (I really like the Dine Out GP since running a succesful restaurant is actually a fun and satisfactory challenge) and time to think about how I want the final restaurant to look (as you might remember, I'm a sloooooow builder going back and forth all the time about colour choices, furniture combinations and what not ;) ). Too bad we can't run a home business, but having an apartment above the restaurant means you never actually have to visit your home lot (as you can pay your bills over the phone). Jordan's home lot is literally completely empty! :)
I'm still adjusting how best to follow everyone's new creations and how the Gallery works compared to the Sims 3 website. I really miss the wall from the old site where it was super easy to follow everyone's uploads and leave comments for them there. I was following you already from waaaay back in 2014 when Sims 4 launched, so I did come across your most recent uploads when I opened the Gallery in game. You've been incredibly busy I noticed and I absolutely love love love what you're creating in the Sims 4!!! Also, I have no idea how these profiles work lol, neither here on the website, nor on the Gallery in game, so I probably would have missed your message there anyway. I'm glad you found your way over here! I must visit your showcase thread and have a proper look at all your amazing creations! <3 Will do so soon. Very curious to see what else you've been up to in Sims 4 apart from the lovely rooms I've already spotted on the Gallery! :)
Hehe, I used to have that too with Sims 3! :D So many ideas to build, to CAS, so much to explore playing the game, so little time, lol! I started with mostly playing the Sims 4 as I was really missing the Create-a-style feature so so much to build anything, but now that more and more content becomes available in the various EP/GP/SPs, it is becoming more and more fun to build again. Toddlers are a great reason to set aside some gameplay time though! I really think they've done an amazing job on this life phase, might be the best toddlers (and most definitely the cutest ones) we've had so far in the series!
Thanks, I will! I'm really looking forward continuing Jordan's story and the restaurant build!
