But now I am torn... shall I submit my girl? Even though she won't be a potential love interest and instead a friend? (I just boldly assume the heir will be a geek who will land themself a boy band member...) Or shall I hold her back for another generation? I really want my baby to have a shoot at trying to win a Day once...

Can the geek girl and the boy band member be siblings? They would share a certain background story...
