Backstory:
Cory's* music talents don't come from anywhere. He himself is the son of boyband member, even f he does not know who exactly.
His mother was a teenage groupie fooling around with one (or more?) boyband boys. She got pregnant by one but never stopped in living her lifestyle even after her son was born. So Cory* grew up with his single mother following various (boy) bands on their tour. Leading such a gypsy life wasn't easy, few friendships he formed where permanent and most of his education he received was in homeschooling. The most stable in his life was actually this unstable life and his not so steady mom.
Being in close touch with the industry, other musicians and his own talents in dancing and singing naturally leaded to his choice to pursue a career in music himself. Well, what else could he have done? College and everything is out of question... it wasn't even in for once.
I signed his contract at 16* and showed it filled with pride to his mother. She smiled, patted his back and left, chasing her next favourite band. While it didn't shock Cory*, he was still deeply hurt. What he had often feared finally arrived. His mother abandoned him. He had thought maybe she would be proud enough to stay with him and help him through this very particular difficult time, at least maybe some words of support or advice, but his mom had merely a goodbye for him. Well, he now considers his relationship with his mother as finished so who cares...? He recently heard that his mother, a recently turned mid thirty woman looking way younger, had gone steady... with only one band.
In his new environment he bloomed well. He was quickly well received by fans and band members alike.
Cory is like the pet of his band. But not in a mascot-like way. More like an aloof cat and a attention demanding and jealous dog at once. Cory can be very charming with people he needs to and is very lovingly to his fans. If he actually wants to flirt with a person, he will show himself of his best side. However everone else who gets to know him only get's his cold side to feel. But getting to know him better, or if you seem to be a more stable addition to his life... or if he really, REALLY gets a liking of you people get to know another Cory*. One who is warm, funny and natuarally charming... sometimes a bit to much friendly attention or contact seeking, even becoming somewhat overly protective and also jealous if someone get's to close to someone he likes (either way if he likes the person as a friend or lives them and the intruding persons loves or likes the person). If some else get's patted by his friend / love he'll get jealous and butt in. That often get's annoying for everyone, but most time they bear it, as you can find hardly a greater friend. Dog is man's best friend they say, and it is true in Cory's case too. Few one can comfort you as sensitive and lovingly as Cory will do.
This empathic side for the struggles of others of him is well hidden with his public 'Charming flirtatious boy' Fassade and his personal rather cool, cold unapproachable mask. But Cory can't go from a person in despair away, he was to near to the abyss himself and is too scarred himself to ignore the scars of others. But he won't just let anyone know about his soft heart and probably will insult you after you had been comforted by him, if you aren't his close friend. Cory is wary around persons he doesn't know as being a good natured, naive child his goodwill was often taken advantage in his childhood.
He often concentrates on just one person, a figure of attachment can be found in most commonly each in his flirts and in one friend / family member.
