I like this idea a lot!
I also like the idea of sims changing into cosplay when attending a convention.
Sims could also host book signings at their house (not just for comic book authors, but regular writers as well). Just like party, wedding, or date objectives, your sim would have to sign a certain number of copies and socialize with sims, or else they'd lose part of their fan base (and, thus, earn less money on their published books).
However, I think drowning your sim's assistants or partners might be a little much. By firing them, your sim could also climb the corporate ladder by taking credit for all the work and earning the full royalties (instead of having to split it between the two sims).
