You are spot-on about a lot of things. Braeden surprised me, too, when he had revenge. But anyone could feel upset if someone threatens to hurt the ones they love. Braeden has a bit of a temper, so there's that. The repopulation part will be a vicious cycle indeed. There will always be a form of prejudice, even if the humans stopped existing. I looked up Magneto, and now I know what you meant. I barely ever read the Marvel Comics. I could see the similarities, though.

Nerissa might hunt down Braeden and Zelda. Hopefully she doesn't do something too drastic, but who knows?

Zelda let Braeden know she won’t be taken advantage of and expects to be an equal partner. Good for her. And poor Braeden just wants to protect her, not control her. It’s a fine line especially with someone like her.

The police would indeed focus on Braeden. And they might focus on Zelda if they discovered that she was the one wearing the black ninja outfit when attacking her father. After what Zelda had gone through in her past, she definitely wouldn't agree to marrying a violent man. Those two need to work on their personal issues or the relationship has to go. I know some older people in real life that hold outdated views, so his mother's backstory/views was a small reflection of IRL older people that I know. I figured Nerissa would come and try to get revenge on Zelda. Zelda doesn’t make friends easily and seems to thinks when she kills people and casts mean spells it’s okay, yet has no tolerance for others that get in her way. She even pushes Braeden’s buttons. So is she in San Myshuno? She seems to think she can waltz back into Glimmerbrook. Not so sure she can.
