Well...it's been bad luck on your part with your sims not surviving long! I'm hoping Mike won't have a hidden loner trait...hee! Since Ember isn't evil (at least I hope not--she does have one more trait to go), she should get along with most sims (unlike Zollie who hated good sims and really couldn't get much traction with them.)
