Disaster Pack?

It would be cool to have a disaster pack that includes (but not limited to) things like:

1) kaiju attack
2) tornados/hurricanes
3) tidal waves
4) nuclear meltdown

All with neighborhood destruction, including damage to your lot and home, possible mutations due to radioactive fallout, changing the look of arms, legs, etc.

This reminds me of Sim City 4 disasters. Those red flashing lights! ????. There also a giant robot, that was on the TV in Sims 2! I used the disasters when I wanted to remodel a town.

You could select the frequency and destruction level. A way to use the military career or secret agents would be useful.

  • Disaster pack=great idea. I really want the pack made because it will make the sims 4 more fun. Even though it's not made yet I can imagine what the pack would be like.

Wasn't Eco Lifestyle disaster enough for you?

ROFLMAO!!! Yeah... I didn’t even get that. It’s the one thing I don’t have. I want the occasional (when opted in) disaster, not persistent catastrophe.

What persistent catastrophes does Eco Lifestyle have?
Industrial footprints adds... coughing. That's it.

There's nothing catastrophic about the eco footprints at all. It's the most unobtrusive, vanilla, weak-tea "catastrophe" I've ever seen.

Difference of opinion I guess. The idea of introducing politics into a game is terrible to me. Especially when you can’t completely opt out. So I just didn’t buy it.

    What.... politics....?

Yes. The NAPs. You have to vote on them, even if you set it so you’re the only voter. I play games to get away from stuff like that. The idea of NAPs was so atrocious to me that it kept me from buying that pack so I don’t get all the build/buy and cas items.

Yes, the very existence of voting in and of itself is political. Yes. Mmm-hmm.

Eco Lifestyle is a bad EP, but c'mon. Political?

I’m done talking to you. All you seem to want to do is drag this out, detracting from the topic.

If you don't want to talk to me, you could simply

    not talk

You don't have to announce it. It's the internet. Just walk away. Look at a tree or something.

I don't think it's a good idea. I know many people have had bad experiences with natural disasters. They are also expensive to clean up and there is plenty of lives lost. If they're gonna make a pack, they're better off making something else.
