I was one of those early birds that really fell off the train with the maxis issue,..complaining, arguing, moaning, pleading,promoting and so the list goes on...it's a fickle little situation when you get stuck into the maxis engine of why, why not, etc. All you get from this is...nothing but disappointment and maybe even hate mail (lol i know trust me)
My advise: Let maxis be and do your own thing. We all do have different tastes and so does Maxis. 2 Many rules bring 2 openings for new arguments and negative postings.....Image there was never a maxis..what would we be complaining about then? lol..
