- Briana25263 years agoSeasoned AceI still say yes because it would be something new in the game. We have all these threads of ideas for the preteens so I'm not going to repeat myself all the devs have to do is look through them and stick with the ideas *side eye* *slowly looks away* I really want Preteens because it's something new haven't been done in the PC version.

Funny, I was just talking about this the other day. I want a preteen stage. I see TS4 teens as being older than 16. It's how in my mind I justify them being adult-like. My son was shaving at 15 and adult sized at 14. He's 6'4" at 19. Some teens are just taller, more adult looking than others.
It drives me a little crazy how childish TS4 teens act because again, I see them as being on the older side of teens. The massive leap from an 8 year old child to a 16 year teen can be jarring, especially for those who play legacies.
It would balance things out more if there was a stage in between child and these older teens. - Would preteens be able to gain real skills, or is it just another useless life stage...? If they have real skills, I'm up for it.
- Nope.
- EricasMyTouchQ3 years agoSeasoned AceI voted Yes because of the jarring transition from Child to Teen in the game when I was able to play it before. I wish there was something in between so it wouldn't be so much of an age gap. There are a lot of gameplay and other features that could be added in a GamePack for them. I realize this could take a lot of work to add in animations, etc. but the game would benefit from it.

- DaWaterRat3 years agoSeasoned AceI mean, would I mind if there were pre-teens in Sims 5? Not at all.
If they were added to Sims 4, do I expect them to have more support than Children or Toddlers? No. Do I expect people to spend a lot of time (justly) complaining about how they don't get any support? Yes. Do I think that Pre-teen development will take away from Children and toddlers getting more support in the future? Possibly. Do I want to come to the forums and see people complaining about the whole mess? There's already enough people are complaining about, don't need to add more to it. - It's true, though. All I know is people complain about fears and wants- myself included. If they do this, it can't be half-butted.
- Fluteline243 years agoSeasoned AceNope. There is nothing unique about preteens they can't add to children or teens.
