Do you want story progression?
It's a topic people talk about a lot so a poll would be a good way to see the general thoughts about it.

I definitely think there should be story progression. I've had to do it myself in some cases (especially with members of the main family I no longer control), and this would be so much easier and more interesting. A toggle would be nice, but I would still like it even without a toggle.
