Creating a machinima is really time-consuming. I wish machinima makers can share their tips in making a machinima more time-efficient.
So let me contribute my first tips.
I put my pose's names list in a spreadsheet. It's much better than a notepad. You can search and copy the names in fewer steps than if you do it on a notepad.
And then I give them tags. That way for example if I needed an animation of a pointing finger, I can find it faster, instead of trying and guessing all animations again one by one.
In Youtube retention is important. So I learn to grab attention since the beginning. And I use fast pace, many short cuts. Other makers may like to use slow motion movement to make it more cinematic. But I don't know how they do the slow mo.
