Elevators and L Shaped Stairs

It would be good to have some stone spiral staircases as well and semi-circular walls with Realm of Magic. I could see myself making castles with those stairs in the turrets and moats around the castle. I just hope Maxis staff have some "fantastical" imagination for such a pack.

It kills me that we don't have L and spiral staircases. I can do the former, with some build work, but the latter stumps me in so many situations. Especially in Castle and Luxury Mansion builds.

How can you do L-shaped staircases indoors? I think there's a way to do them outdoors, but...

You have to build the stairs first and then build the 'room' around them. Occasionally you do have to get 'roof creative' and make a separate roof for the house and one over the stair area and hope you can connect them, without it looking goofy. I have a number of builds doing just that in the Gallery, if you'd like to take a look. 'Taoron24121' The latest is a Grand Stair in a castle build called 'Medieval Modern'. I'm also pretty sure that if the roof is more than one level over the L Stair, that it will place fine. I have also been doing a lot of Beach Styled houses, so an L Stair placed properly can warrant a Cupola, and that works just fine.
