European Expansion Pack

On the last expansion packs EA was inspired by real countries/regions. Thats I got the idea how to represent Europe. Currently our beautiful continent has a low and stereotipical representation in The Sims 4. I know that EA can not give us 30+ expansions to show every country. Due to that I tried to reduce the number of expansions. My idea is simplyfied. Please do not be mad that some countries are together or wrongly represent, because I am not omniscent. I just want to give some representation for countries which will never have their own expansion.

Ok. Lets start. Europe is small but our countries have a lot of languages, different cultures, climate ect. Due to that it is hard to close our variery in a several expansions, but I will try do my best to do that.

Sorry that I will skip former Yugoslavian countries, Belarus, Ukraine and Russia. I do not feel enough good to suggest something here.

1. Germany - We have Get Together expansion so I do not think that we can get something new here. I will skip this region.

3. Spain + Portugal + Andorra - Expansion Pack
Theme - Hotel and Resorts
World - 32 lots
Neighborhood 1 - 8 lots - inspired by Lisbon (coastal) - festivals + portugal culture and food + houses for locals
Neighborhood 2 - 5 lots - inspired by modern Madrid - business tourism + nightlife + modern apartments (2/3 per lot)
Neighborhood 3 - 5 lots - inspired by old Madrid - festivals + spanish culture and food + tounhouses/apartments
Neighborhood 4 - 6 lots - inspired by Barcelona (coastal) - clubs + catalan culture
Neighborhood 5 - 8 lots - inspired by Mallorca (island) - family tourism

3. Italy + Malta + San Marino - Expansion Pack
Theme - Showtime/Fashion
World - 35 lots
Neighborhood 1 - 5 lots - inspired by Venece (coastal) - festivals
Neighborhood 2 - 6 lots - inspired by Frienze - street art + Got Talent
Neighborhood 3 - 8 lots - inspired by Rome - opera/theater + X Factor
Neighborhood 4 - 8 lots - inspired by Milan - fashion + Top Model

Theme - Carieer / Business
World - 25 lots
Neighborhood 1 - 7 lots - inspired by Amsterdam - Shiphol Airport + pilot carieer + festivals (as Kings Day, Pride day ect.)
Neighborhood 2 - 7 lots - inspired by Rotterdam - Europoort + shipbuilder (or architect) carieer
Neighborhood 3 - 6 lots - inspired by Brussels - ambassador carieer
Neighborhood 4 - 5 lots - inspired by Luxembourg - functional bank

5. France + Monaco - Expansion Pack
Theme - Romance/Hot Date
World - 32 lots
Neighborhood 1 - 8 lots - inspired by Bordeaux - festivals + elegant festivals
Neighborhood 2 - 8 lots - inspired by Paris - apartments + festivals ect.
Neighborhood 3 - 5 lots - inspired by Paris suburbs - french village houses
Neighborhood 4 - 6 lots - inspired by Marseille (coastal) - yachts + clubs + romantic vacation destination
Neighborhood 5 - 5 lots - inspired by Monaco - casinos + expensive penthouses and apartments

6. Norway + Sweden + Denmark + Iceland + Finland - Expansion Pack
Theme - Generations
Pack Idea but in Scandinavian scenery

7. Poland + Czechia + Slovakia - Expansion Pack
Theme - Crafting + Vehicles
World - 32 lots
Neighborhood 1 - 6 lots - inspired by Gdansk (coastal) - fashion designer/seamstress (LPP brands)
Neighborhood 2 - 6 lots - inspired by Poznan - bakery + bakers (St. Martin croissants)
Neighborhood 3 - 6 lots - inspired by Katowice - train/trams production (a lot of companies in this region)
Neighborhood 4 - 6 lots - inspired by Praque - cosmetics production (Dermacol)
Neighborhood 5 - 5 lots - inspired by Pilsen - beer production
Neighborhood 6 - 6 lots - inspired by Bratislava - car production (VW factories for example)

8. Switzerland + Austria - Game Pack
Theme - Spring Touring
World - 20 lots (functional train between locations)
Neighborhood 1 - 8 lots - inspired by Wien - festivals + functional composer carieer + more instruments
Neighborhood 2 - 6 lots - inspired by Basel - chocolate and medivial festivals
Neighborhood 3 - 6 lots - inspired by Alpine village

9. Hungary + Romania + Bulgaria + Croatia + Slovenia - Game Pack
Theme - Supernatural
Obviously erevolwes, faelies, dragons and another mythical creatures.

10. Greece + Cyprus - Expansion Pack
Theme - Ancient
World - 30 lots - possibility to visit Ancient Greece by visiting the temples or something.
Neighborhood 1 - 8 lots - inspired by Athens
Neighborhood 2 - 6 lots - inspired by Thessaloniki
Neighborhood 3 - 6 lots - inspired by Crete (Herkalion)
Neighborhood 4 - 5 lots - inspired by Lesbos
Neighborhood 5 - 5 lots - inspired by Corfu

11. Lithuania + Latvia + Estonia - Game Pack
Theme - School (one of the best education system is in Estonia)
World - 20 lots
Neighborhood 1 - 8 lots - inspired by Vilnus - highschool (type 1)
Neighborhood 2 - 6 lots - inspired by Riga - highschool (type 2)
Neighborhood 3 - 6 lots - inspired by Tallinn - elementary school

12. Uniteg Kingdom + Ireland - Game Pack
Theme - Farming (huge lots)
The world inspired by villages in UK and Ireland with commertial town inspired by Edinburgh

What about objects. It should be another topic. In Europe we have a tons of objects which are not common in US for example. Kitchen is the best example I guess.

I can not find items in my game to built something like that. I hope that one day Europe will have a better representation in TS4. I really doubt that we will have enough packs to represent every country, but I hope that some of my ideas (or something similar) will appear in our game.

    Sorry but no. You shouldn't pair countries together that have vastly different cultures and call it a day. It's like doing a world that's inspired by both Japan and China at the same time....

    I'd love more European inspired worlds but they should be either very ambiguous like Windenburg and have a rough inspiration of real life, or be very specific in what inspires the world and not try to mash multiple cultures at once.

    I did it because a lot of countries will not have any representation if that caountries will not be paired with another. For example I really doubt that we will ever get Malta, Slovakia or Latva alone. What is more, Europe is the worst continent to be represented well I guess because a lot of countries have a lot of minorities, etnic group and turbulent history.

    I don't think they will put that many lots down in one world. Look at the vampire hood. It should've had several more houses. City Living only had a few places to live. Many of the others around 20 and that included businesses ect.

    Some places would be nice, but to add that many would take away gameplay and stuff missing from the game. WA was probably one of my top 3 favorites in Sims3. I think some would be nice when they can put in really nice gameplay like with Snowy Escape. Perhaps the Venice canals again like Sims3. A world with more tombs. Australia because of the kangaroo and adventure. Kenyan or African place to see zoo type animals. Rain forest adventure.

    Ohh, awesome idea about a Generations pack being Scandinavian-inspired! I think these countries are very family-friendly.
    And in a pack like this there should also be a longer family leave. ? I feel a bit uncomfortable when my sim who gave birth only a couple days ago is already expected at work.

    I'd love a Celtic inspired world. With cliffs, misty moors 'n marshes 'n rugged landscapes 'n Leprechauns 'n Giants 'n Pixies 'n Dragons and folks that can shape shift into were beast and dance while they play the uillean pipes.

    It would be a very realistic representation of that part of Europe. B)

    I don't think there will be that many but I'd be really happy with a Spanish/Portuguese world or a more general Mediterranean world.

    Also, if they do Spanish I want tradition Spanish. Not American Spanish colonial (like Oasis Springs) because it's completely different.


    I'd like to see it be a pretty varied world with one part as the "touristy" part of Spain with walks, beaches and hotels and the other part as the traditional part of Spain with vineyards, villas and traditional homes.

    A lot of things are very similar with countries like Italy, Malta, Croatia, Portugal, etc so it could easily be a more generalised Mediterranean world.
