Mila starts her morning by making some pancakes for breakfast

She’s also put up some balloons and banners to celebrate Zach’s special day

They sit down to eat and discuss their plans for the day

As Zach’s birthday falls the day before Christmas, it’s always been tradition to go pick out a Christmas tree

And Mila does her morning injection

Then it’s off to the Christmas tree farm!

The couple walk through the maze of trees, enjoying the scent and the feeling of Christmas

Zach almost loses Mila in a sea of giant trees!

But eventually they find a favourite! Zach gets to chop it down and then it’s packed up for them. With the tree picked out, the couple decide to enjoy a hot drink and pretzel from the food stall

And Mila tells Zach she’s booked them tickets to go and watch his favourite movie, Roaring Vice!

So, after dropping the tree off at home they head to the movie theatre

Where they meet their friends

They head into the theatre just as the movie starts

And Zach shares some movie facts with them – he just can’t help himself!

After the movie ends the friends say goodbye to each other and all head home, where Mila gives Zach his birthday gifts

A beautiful new tree topper, some framed photos, clothes and a cookbook! He loves them!

Then it’s time to decorate the tree! They move the table out of the way and bring in the tree

The couple share a kiss, both wondering if they will be joined by another family member next Christmas…
