There is one major thing missing from the Sims games I've always wanted for kids. I would love to see the Sims have their own version of American Girl dolls, Barbies, Polly Pocket, Beanie Babies, Cabbage Patch, Furbies, Tamagotchi, Troll Doll, and little people (I had a whole village of these that had families, school, hospital, ect but I can't remember the name of it). I lot of these could have cute alternatives in the Sims games. Like VitCriters (that's not what they are called) which are basically Pokémon. I would like handheld gaming systems like we had Sims 2 for kids as well. But that's almost a different topic. Something like Wii system would be fun too. I'd love to see arcade lot in the game and more fun places for kids and sims of all ages in general. Sure you can make a genetic lot but no one ever visits it.

They have phone gaming now. I like the American Doll idea, especially is sims could collect different outfits for them. Also, would like a Build a Bear option. I would also like if there were subscriptions to some sort of collector's hobby magazines that came with bits of a building kit, so sims could in time build a model railway set, a replica of a ship, or a plane, car, etc.

I wouldn't mind more toys, especially special ones. However, I'd prefer more traditional and expansive activities like the lemonade stand, treehouses, baking stand, the kid oven, etc. It is pretty ridiculous not to have more playset and something akin to the Easy Bake Oven, though.

Can kids actually mix the pitcher in 4? I don't remember whether or not they could. I haven't tried it with a child in a while. As for the oven, I do feel there is a fair difference between play cooking with a toy and using a real oven. I think 3's oven got it best with just producing a tiny edible treat like an Easy Bake.Agreed that they definitely need a play tea set, though I guess adult Sims need a functional one still as well.

I love all these ideas. All the toys we have are either small dolls or dolls they can't carry around. Poor boys really need more action figures. Unisex toys too. Boys can obvious play with dolls too. I would love to see more sports. Like tennis, volleyball, baseball, cricket, ect. I love soccer/football and basketball, but volleyball is so popular these days and I personally played the sport. Tennis would be easy to animate. I know nothing about cricket to be honest. But they should include some sports that are popular outside of the USA. I like the idea of Easy Bake and lemonade stands/bake sale signs. But the way sims walking around goes by may make it difficult. Like if you sell farm products you have to start an event on your lot. At least I think so, I've never done it so I'm not sure.

Now that they're doing these pack refreshes, maybe? just maybe there might be hope that they'll consider some ideas, especially with the positive reception of Spa Day. Yeah like I mentioned in another thread, they should incorporate some new ideas to existing packs, for example Kids Stuff & Parenthood & even other packs, I think most existing packs should really consider children & teens in terms of activities & interactions, elderly included.

Such things require a hefty amount of money for licenses... I'd rather see the resources used for improving the game.

I think we have the simmies as collectable minifigures. Maybe they could make origami, to create some interact able stuff, like a paper airplane you could fly around, maybe a bouquet of flowers you could give someone, some decorations that you could string and make a baby mobile, etc.

I would also love new toys for kids and toddlers. Everything mentioned above and also little puzzles.
